Christmas is ‘almost’ over.. few days left before the New Year takes over. Did you get the gifts that you longed for or did you give your family and friends what they wanted? It is not so difficult to give something personalized when it comes to gifts for special occasions and festives. Among so many gift-shop websites that I have seen, gifts from Personal Creations Facebook can be quite interesting. You can get new info and ideas on personal gifts like names on mugs paired for a couple or even personalized T-shirts. I believe the recipient would prefer to receive something meant for him or her than just another photo frame identical with the other giver. Don’t you agree?

I have a month before Lunar New Year. That means less than a month of spring cleaning duties. Oh sometimes I wish I had the financial freedom to do what I like every year at home. I was at Hard Rock Hotel recently and I just loved the interior design they have in their rooms. It makes a person staying inside like a movie star. A rocker’s heaven. If I had the chance, I’d love to do up at least a part of the house with something like that. Newly painted bold walls, mirrors, some stainless steel stuff, including metal switchplates instead of those white plasticky looking ones we normally have at home. Lots of little touches like glamour lights and bright looking metal stuff.. I always wanted to be a rock star anyway… and an electric guitar on the wall… wooo

I cannot believe how time flies! It is already December of 2011 and a little more than two weeks, we will be welcoming year 2012! So much has happened this year, lots of happy stuff, sad stuff, global and home. I am sighing a sigh of relief because I have overcome them all, be it in any way at all. And I wish that this month will see everyone looking back to see how and what one can do to improve, upgrade, change - for the better. Love more, feel more, there is more to life, not just money, paper chase and other materials. Human beings need to be in touch with our soul, and feeding ourselves with communication, love and other people in our lives.

Sometimes when I close my eyes, I can feel like how I used to feel as a young child, a teenager or even a student. Our ’shell’ and ‘age’ is not in our sight. We live and breathe oxygen. In darkness, we are the same person because we are still ourselves. We may have more grey hair or wrinkles or walk like a slouch and feel the aches in some part of our body or joints but we are still the same person underneath this human shell. Oh well, some things to ponder before the Christmas and New Year. Start any resolution yet?
