Dramas Non-stop

Posted by spymama on May-29-2011

I hardly get enough beauty sleep nowadays. I’m doing what they call, ‘chasing dramas’, from Hong Kong ones to Taiwan and Korean ones.. I sometimes cannot wait for the next episode so I watch the other dramas and I end up watching 3 dramas in one night, sometimes few episodes at a stretch.. YAWN.. that is what or how I’m feeling most hours in my daylight.. so the other day, I went to Watsons to see if I can get something to perk me up. Something along the lines of products that can get rid of dark circles to avoid that horrible panda black-eyed look. Got some gel creams and a yummy smelling face mask too. I must be pretty tired that night, cos I wore a mask, and fell asleep with it on… by morning, it was on the floor! What a hiliarious one! LOL

Gym Passion

Posted by spymama on May-26-2011

My friend is an avid gym enthusiast and she goes to the gym about 4 times a week. She eats very healthy food and she also picks up a substantial information of food diet, exercise regimen and body needs.

Now she is taking one step further. She has applied for a job as a personal trainer but before she can do that, she needs to complete some kind of personal trainer certification programs to make sure she is eligible for her new post. This new job she will be taking contradicts her current status at work, someone who works in the bank! But I really am supportive of this step as she has sounded to me how unhappy she is sitting in the office with that pile of papers or documents. Her interest will pay off once she completes this course, I’m sure and there will be plenty of good vibes she will be rubbing off her passion at work. Congrats on your new career, Freda!

If It Rains Men

Posted by spymama on May-25-2011

I heard the song on the radio again… It’s Raining Men, that is. Oh, it was years ago when this song was a hit on the radio.. I thought it was really brilliant! And lately, I keep hearing this on the radio while driving. Perhaps the Radio DJ suddenly finds him or herself into that era where songs in the 80s are just great. Well, this song was very popular among women whenever they want to paint the town red… of course when they are mostly single, back then. I remember how we used to joke how it would be so hilarious if it really rained men… better have them skinny and light than having heavy muscular ones that might just fall on you and cause quite an injury, right? Then again, I wonder if those really toned and muscular ones took stuffs like the no-need-to-sweat-it out m5 extreme or they actually work it out at the gym daily!

Shop for the Best Policy

Posted by spymama on May-25-2011

I am considering surrendering some of my insurance policies because some of them do not really offer much even though they are tied to an investment account. I regretted buying some of them when I was green in such matters back then. Although I have held them to quite a while, I find that I would have made a better decision getting good premiums by doing proper research such as www.wholesaleinsurance.net online. I applaud many new policy companies who offer a good and comphrehensive package for both investment, medical and even endownment policies, compared with some of the basic ones decades ago. Nowadays you can find extra coverage for medical than previously. I think I’d rather buy one that benefits me more now than to keep holding on premiums held for so long, yet yield little results. Don’t you think so?

There are mortgage brokers too

Posted by spymama on May-18-2011

I remember buying my first home. I was very green about buying big ticket items. So was my partner. We spent months looking at papers, magazines and asked about mortgage loans. Some friends gave us their own views, some were very biased and some who didn’t even know much just gave general ideas. If only back then we knew about middle-men brokers who dealt with bank mortgage, we’d not be getting a less than ideal loan with high interest and locked in numbers of years. Interest for properties were going down few years after we got the house but we still paid high interest.

With the internet now one can even search like keying in words, ie: mortgage broker Calgary if one is keen to look for someone as far as Calgary to help him or her get a good deal by negotiating good low interest, high loans with known banks. This saves time and you can save some money that could have been lost in the continuing years servicing the morgage loans.

A Little Nudge

Posted by spymama on May-18-2011

A good friend of mine asked me if I can help her with something. Of course being a good friend, I’d extend my help whichever I can… she is, after all getting married and her second after being a divorcee for a decade. I feel very happy for her, to find real happiness and into her new life. I had a good laugh actually when she told me that she is a little ‘dull’ when it comes to adult costumes… oh well, I was a little dull when I finally found out that when she meant that it means lingeries..lol I then told her not to worry, but let her own instincts be the better of her.. she can’t go wrong, can she? Not that I am good at stuff like these anyway.. I think she just need a little confidence and I shall just give her the good friend nudge.

Can’t Sleep

Posted by spymama on May-18-2011

I’ve been sleeping very late the past weeks. I’m not sure why. I cannot get to sleep early and when I try a little later, my biological clock does not get me into slumber land that easily. I am easily woken up by even the slightest sound like the water in the pipes flushing down the toilet by the upstairs’ neighbour. I shall have to look someone to recommend me services or product for dark circles under eyes treatment because I am beginning to look like an old grey haired panda.. I tried the cucumber and ice pack for eyes and they don’t seem to work. I am now considering those tiny tubes of gel for eye bags now. They are quite expensive and the tubes are very tiny.. Perhaps I should see a doctor and get something that can help me sleep better.. sigh

Messy Cables

Posted by spymama on May-12-2011

I’m trying to do a bit of spring cleaning lately. My house is so packed with stuff. I am a collecter so I collect so many things in recent years and never try to throw them out. Well, I’m trying to, this time. I do now want to go through the same spring cleaning stress when I try to complete it like days before a festival! No more.. but now the first thing I really ought to do first is that, I need to tidy up the tv cables
that is so messy on the floor… I wished I had one of those hiddent trunking.. ah, but… one certainly can’t help it all.. But at least, no one might accidentally trip over the messy wires/cables that I have no idea is linked to!

Get Everything Online

Did any of you remember the days of ICQ chatting back then? It seems like century old! No, now they don’t really use this, or do they? Not when you have facebook and you can do almost everything on facebook… from chatting, status updates, playing online games, store your pictures, email and more, more, more! Besides quizzes that you can do, I wonder if among them, there is a free online dating service too.. lol..

I can’t help but wonder because facebook alone is packed with stuffs! Even supporting charity events, liking some product pages, contests and so much more. For me, I like the Bejeweled game on FB, and Zuma, next. Do you? And I love to read my zodiacs, listen to shared YouTube videos and best of all, our comments are meant for our friends only. Well, unless yours is a public page.
