I decided go to the clinic a week ago, after nursing a flu at home for four days. My throat was painful and the medication I took, didn’t help in breaking the horrible phlegm in my throat. I figured I may need some antibiotics as well. While waiting, I saw a little girl being attended by the nurse. She was to be attached one of those nebulizers as she probably is asthmatic or having some difficulty in her breathing. I remember that clinics do let their patients borrow these portable nebulizers home in the duration of treatment for young children. This saves the parents additional costs in buying such equipment as they can be quite costly. Of course the clinics always have lots of pamphlets at the counter showing the different types of equipments, among some I saw was a respironics oxygen concentrator. I wonder if these are similar to the nebulizer’s motor or they are only used for those in need of oxygen, during an emergency.. Would someone of old age buy one of these oxygen thingy to be kept at home, like parents who buy nebulizer?

There is a little shop near home. I can go there and stay for hours because the stuff in there are cheap and the variety is just superb. They sell everything from toiletries, kitchen, toys, stationery, clothes, DIY stuff like woody stuff and small items found on hardware shops and they even sell generic items like acrylic frames or gifts useful as promotional products if you own a business and like to do a little Marketing strategy. I know of many of my friends who are moms and goes to this shop often, just to replenish their hunger for Japanese Bento accessories! This shop has all that cute toothpicks, silicon cups, bakeware, bento box, sushi moulds and so much more. What do I usually buy? I just love their baking stuff/pans, all mini ones and I also like to buy their charcoal deodorizer for shoe cabinets, closets or just to be placed in my car, to absorb odour! How lucky I am that they opened one just near home!

I may have to change a new door. And that is going to break my wallet for sure! I’ve never, or seldom hear of a door that is looking like it’s going to split or break but it seems like mine is. If you look at it towards a bright light, you can see lines and lines of light like the dawn breaking in.. weird. And I always thought that my wooden door would last me a lifetime! Perhaps nowadays doors are not made of what it used to be. Early this year, I thought of changing my door lock to a Schlage type because the current one is a little faulty. When it slams shut from the wind from the kitchen, my door will never be able to open from the outside! It’s a scary thinking, imagine, being locked out from your own home.. so I always have a door stopper there, just in case it slams shut again.
Perhaps it is the door slamming that is causing my wooden door like that? Sigh, I am just worried about the cost.. and I do not want to get a door of lesser or worst quality..

Durians are in town and they are in the air, perfume to some, disgusting to some. When I was younger till about my 30s, I NEVER liked Durians, NEVER. I only ate them maybe once every year or two! Then, something in me changed. Perhaps something that woken up that senses or is it because it is a cultivated or acquired taste, I had this unusual craving (NO, NOT PREGNANT, DEFINITELY) when I took a whiff of it. And I had wanted to eat them since.. so watch me, when I have to get some subscription for pronexin, some acne medication because, Durians are so heaty that pimples will pop out after gorging on it. So, shall I call myself MamaMoon because it would be rocky like the moon?
Now they have so many types of variety in the market and supermarkets.. I buy them and clingwrap it few in one so that I can finish two or three instead of a whole durian! Nicely chilled in my fridge now..

I do so want to get myself the iPad! I just am so awed by it and after seeing someone used it, I just cannot help thinking about it! Before that, I wanted the Kindle badly but I read that it is not supported fully in Singapore because you cannot download those e-books from the Amazon site. But for the iPad, you can even surf, read, watch videos and play games. And since it is a touch screen real lap top reader, you don’t need to click here nor there since you don’t need a mouse for it. Just imagine, having all your book collections, play online games and get to surf, blog and chat on it! Gosh, I am salivating already… wish I own an iPad NOW!
Well if I don’t get an iPad, does it makes sense to get the new iPhone 4 then? sigh.. which is more affordable? Oh, money makes the world go around… and in this case, I really need some money right now.

I know many people would think of the number 999 when they have some medical stress or emergency.
However, I read that many a times, these emergency aren’t actually life and death situation and could have been dealt with by the non emergency department. The actual number to call in a non emergency medical situation is 995. Why the different number? This is because some of these non emergency cases are supported by third party ambulances and they have also done a wonderful job bringing distressed patients to the hospital.
Number 999 is the number to call only when you need real emergency assistance and life and death situation. No one should be deprived of it, so any kind of help is rendered, except that the difference is the number. And when you don’t have anything really in dire need, you may have to pay at least some $50 to call for an ambulance to bring you to the destination of the hospital you require. This way, there is no abuse in ambulance services.

Singapore has very interesting people! Once, I saw a man on a motorbike with sunflowers everywhere! He pasted sunflowers every available space on his bike and wore a jacket that has sunflowers on it. His helmet was also donned with this sunny flowers, nevertheless!
Then last week, while at the basement car park, I cannot help casting my eyes at something pink, very rare. Guess what it was? Not only was the car painted pink, it was also filled with all things Mario.. hahahahah this driver must be such a fan that his car is all about Mario…. I smiled, walked to the lift and then came out again. Took my camera, just had to… take a picture of this unique product! See, I wasn’t joking at all…

What a car!
