I love the libraries. They make me feel relax and I just want to read everything they have. But with the short time I have, I only get to go once in a blue moon. Libraries are great when it comes to doing research but one thing you can’t really get are reviews. Books print reviews but you do not get reviews in real time and convenience like online reviews. Just like my friend who asked me about lipofuze, I told her to find out what they are are good for and if there are any health risks. Guess the only way to get lipofuze reviews would be from the internet since books don’t give you updated till the very last minute or seconds. Which do you prefer? Online library or brick and mortar library? I still prefer the latter but with today’s technology and age, you can get both in a real library so no worries.

Fruits like bananas, papayas and prunes are suppose to help one clear their systems. There are those like fibre gels as well as colon cleanse products that rid us of toxins in our systems. These are mostly available in the pharmacy. I think I would like to try them out as I feel quite lethargic lately. It’s either my too many durian sessions or the recent gorging on mangoes, rambutans and mangosteens… I just love these local fruits and they are abundant now. Those rainbow mangoes are just wonderful and I make them into those Thai sticky rice with mango desserts too often! Yumm Mango puddings and all that Durian Pengats are too mouth watering not to have second and third helpings! Don’t you agree? I’ve been ‘de-shelling’ all the rambutans and chilling it before I have my nightly TV session. Yummmmmmmmmmm

Abbreviations. People use it all the time. Shortcuts, as some people call it. Before there was internet, we use them but not as much. Then there came those that some people use on their handphone messages because it is too lenghty to type the full word sentences out. In Singapore, we use it for our highways such as PIE for Pan Island Expressways, MRT for Mass Rapid Transit (our trains), COE (certificate of entitlements - for cars) and there are internet ones like LOL and WB (laugh out loud and welcome back). Among many friends, we use MIL for Mother In Law during a gossip about who else but your Ma in law and we do use BTC as abbreviation for dialect meaning Bo Tak Chek (illiterate/senseless people). Yet there are some which I still need to search online, like 7-dfbx and medical terms too. Wonder if someone actually printed a manual of all types of abbreviations before? I figured that each country should have a set of those as each country have their own set of abbreviations and national bodies and landmarks.

It takes a lot to start a business. Start up cost are just a lot. And the toll in start ups really gets to you when you need to set everything up to a familiar pattern. That why many invester sometimes prefer to ‘buy’ companies that are already an ongoing business or to invest in franchise products. If you want to know what is the best franchise to own, chances are you ask yourself and your family and friends’ cycle which successful product or food they love and you’d probably know how high the chances of people knowing or familiar with you product are. I’d love to own a KFC outlet but I hear these are usually bought and own by one regional or individual for a country so as to set a uniformity and consistent product and quality. If it’s too late for KFC, can I start a Spymama Fried Chicken instead?

Movie stars make fashion statements most of the time. Singers too. People look up to them and idolize them in every way. And some adores soccer players that they sport the same type of hairdo and wears their jerseys with the same numbers printed on the back. I know that green bags even come with the sports team branding. The only thing I haven’t seen are equestrian clothing being worn by their fans. Have you? Frankly, I think those horse riding clothes are cool. Perhaps this is a sport not many are exposed to, thus it is rare to see people wearing their idol’s gear? I know where I work, I see many people who wear those F1 formula idol tops all the time, and lots and lots of sponsors’ brandings on it. I’ve seen Mao’s tops, Osama shirts and even beer brandings. Will someone wear my blogspot T?
