This morning the sky looked gloomy. It felt like it was going to pour again.. The weather has been like that for more than a week. Spypapa wanted to go to the park this Sunday but I hope the weather brightens up a little.

Are you having such a crummy weather lately? Lucky for Spymama my mood isn’t crummy. Because the school ends today and Spykiddo1 and Spykiddo2 will be having their week-long break.

This morning Spymama went to get some fresh Chicken. Thinking of roasting a Chicken tomorrow, so wanna marinade it later on. Spymama had not been out to the market for a while and no spying on bags for a while. Spymama has a bad back so don’t want to be caught in the rain because I just don’t like to carry the brolly.

Anyways, I had a good *burp* sinful coconut based breakfast. I figured my cholesterol level is pretty ok so far so no worries. I had ‘Katong’ laksa. Singapore has two types of laksa which are coconut based. Katong Laksa is popular in the east side of Singapore (hence the name, Katong) and is eaten with a spoon. Their white glass noodles are short (wonder if they cut them first?) and the gravy soup tastes heavenly, more coconut and rich in rempah (spices). Spymama has a picture for you all to see what it looks like.

What can I say? I’m getting awards after award!! Yeee Haaaa! yup yup yup! That certainly looks like some recognition, right? What can I say, I don’t blush with embarrassment. I light up with JOY. Thank You, Ling. You’ve made my day.

Mott cooked some delicious Hokkien Mee recently. She said she hopped by my blog daily and she had that hokkien me and she didn’t invite me. *blinks eye*.. So when I was there, I snipped some of her Hokkien Mee off her blog. This is what is left on my side.

But at least, I didn’t really commit plagiarism because her credits are still in the picture. LOL! So Mott, don’t forget to invite me for a cookout or any dish when you are cooking. Or else you will have to see more of your food snipped off. Not a very pretty sight. I wished I had money to get myself a Photoshop software. Anyone knows a good free to use similar one?

Since Saturday, Spymama had been doing tags that Spymama didn’t post up any food at all. What did Spymama eat then.. Spymama went for a Japanese Lunch with Spypapa on Sunday. Wanted to have Pepper Lunch actually but the queue was really too long. And we were really starving already. Have you tried Pepper Lunch, anyone. It’s Spymama’s favourite so next trip I will take some pictures of it to show you.

So we had some yummy stuff to share. Spymama love softshell crab so ordered that but only remembered to take pictures after most of the food was almost eaten up. Lucky Spymama managed to take the leftover Karaage and Soft Shell Crab. Otherwise there would be no food pictures for the weekend…

I hope the government who wants to increase the child ratio for most Singaporeans will look into her blog like who takes care of kids when mommy has to work, mommy is sick and when mommy is tired.
